Hi James, I'm afraid that I can't view this latest video either at http://gallery.me.com/jameslmorrison2/100213 There are 2 options for downloading (in theory) but it's stuck at the ipod version, so I can't download to my PC. Ruth

Why are you interested in joining Innovate-Ideagora?
I've always been interested in language teaching, and trying new things. James has written many stimulating articles, and I believe we've met at conferences.
What do you think are the most pressing issues/challenges in using technology to enhance the educational process?
I'm not sure. I think that teachers need to be aware of all new teaching methods but too much pressure is sometimes exerted on teachers and students to use fast-changing technology, such as Second Life, without the necessary support. It certainly IS useful for a small selection of keen teachers blessed with the latest technology and students who enjoy using it to have opportunities to try new technology for teaching with, but other ways of learning too can be efficient too, such as drama and guided discussion and process writing in small groups, chatting or writing in international forums. Flexibility is important as we are all different.
